WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST SESSION

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What to bring?

All you need to bring along with you is a sweat towel and water bottle. We've got fancy water fountain incase you run dry. It even does sparkling water!

Change rooms?

We have 3 seperate showers and bathrooms so you can get your morning workout sorted, freshen up, then be on with your day. Forgot to bring a towel for the shower? Not a problem...we got plenty!

Policy on children and infants

We do allow infants and children to attend the studio during our off peak sessions at 9:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm & 6:30pm. We don't have child minding services, however there is a large reception area with seating. Children and infants in prams are required to remain in the reception area at all times for their own safety and the safety of members. Our Trainers are constantly supervising the training floor so you'll need to make sure your children remain in the reception area.

First time nerves

We get it! It can be intimidating walking into a new gym for the first time. Our Trainers are there to support you through every session. If you're not sure about something just let them know and they'll happily assist!

OUR PROGRAMS

The aim of every week’s programming is to stress every energy system, train every muscle fiber type, and work through different planes of movement. Designed by an elite strength and conditioning coach, it’s a science-backed program that elite athletes use, made accessible to the general population.

CARDIO U

This session is all about YOU! A cardio session laser-focused on you, where each individual follows specifically prescribed heart rate zones to reach for work and recovery periods. This program will take your fitness to the next level (if you stick to the program!) You will keep moving at a lower intensity through the recovery periods to bring your heart rate down to the recommended target zone before cranking it back up. A session designed to better understand where your physical limits lie and how quickly your body can recover from intense work periods, regardless of your fitness level and conditioning.

CARDIO SUMMIT

Summit has longer duration efforts specifically designed to target your Aerobic energy system. A session aimed at improving your aerobic capacity to help you recover quicker in the short, high-intensity efforts you'll encounter across our other programs. If you think you worked hard in our Cardio HIIT, you better brace yourself for this!

CREWFIT

Experience the ultimate high-energy session where teamwork is key! An equal parts synergy and performance session, CrewFit will have you sweating it out with your fellow teammates as you work to improve endurance and efficiency across all energy systems through high-intensity cardio conditioning

CARDIO HIIT

A High-Intensity Intermittent Training session where you will burn maximum calories and train at an intensity only possible for short bursts. Attack each short work period with everything you have, and this program will have you gasping for air and enjoying every second of the well-earned rest interval. Training at higher intensities will maximise the EPOC effect where your body continues to burn calories post-workout for up to 36 hours.

BEAST MODE

Bring out your inner beast with a fusion of a number of martial arts disciplines, including partner-work, bag-work, and some extra conditioning. An action-packed session where you can let off steam while reaping the rewards. This session is for all levels of experience, and our coaches are there to show you the ropes!

SHRED

A crowd favourite where you get the best of both worlds - high-intensity cardio mixed with strength training. Build lean muscle and increase your aerobic capacity within the same session. Shred is the ultimate class to get bang for buck.

XTX

A full body You Go, I Go sweat fest where you will work through metabolic complexes and resistance exercises. Targeting the aerobic system through both short and long-duration efforts will have your metabolism running on all 8 cylinders.

POWER

A session where you can express your strength through explosive movements. You will activate your fast twitch muscle fibres as you move through heavy lifts, plyometric and complex movements as you work at lightning speed.

STRENGTH

A foundation session for all of our BFT programs! Not only do these sessions build overall strength through our compound lifts, but they are also designed to build lean muscle and injury-proof our bodies. Increase your lifting capacity as you learn to move with good form.

STRENGTH ENDURANCE

It does what it says.. gets you stronger for longer! Yes, it's a resistance class, but your heart rate will be high as we combine both cardio and strength exercises utilising similar muscle groups to build your endurance.

BALANCED

A whole body workout that keeps you in balance by targeting all muscle groups in one session. Work through full ranges of motion as you improve mobility, stability, and ability through a range of uni-lateral and anti-rotational movements. Don't be fooled; this is no easy session! A vital program to get you moving more efficiently so you can maximise your performance across all our other programs.

PUMP

A high-volume resistance program giving you the ultimate pump through isolation exercises. Targeting either upper or lower body muscle groups, this is a great session that keeps your metabolism high for up to 36hours post-training.

H.I.R.T

High-Intensity Resistance Training. Three different styles of training in the one session - EMOM, AMRAP & You Go, I Go. A session designed to compliment and reinforce the movement patterns of our Strength programs.

HYPER

Hypertrophy-style training with form and function at the forefront! Expect unilateral movements, lateral movements, and a slight twist on most of the conventional strength exercises we do. A session where almost every exercise will challenge your prime movers, your stabilisers, and your core. Hyper will alternate between upper and lower body focus for the ultimate well-rounded resistance program.

BFT HEART RATE MONITORS

We highly recommend you utilise this technology during your BFT sessions. The BFT³ heart rate monitor is designed to maximise your membership and your results. It’s more than a heart rate monitor...it's customised to every single BFT session. Not just every program style, but every single progression to help you work smarter, not necessarily harder.
